Bruno is a Brazilian-Spanish designer and co-founder of the independent studio faaade®. He holds a Master's degree in User Experience Design from Elisava Facultat de Disseny i Enginyeria in Barcelona. His work reflects a commitment to exploring innovative process and design approaches that blend technology with manual craftsmanship.

Since 2023, he has been a member of ADG-fad and The One Club for Creativity and most recently, he was ranked among the top 5 artists in Europe during the 102nd edition of The Art Directors Club (ADC).



Design Director & Motion Designer

Victor was born in Goiás, in the heart of Brazil. With an extensive career of over 18 years, he has worked in various sectors of Design and Advertising, collaborating with important agencies and studios of different profiles and business scopes, gaining the opportunity to lead projects for successful brands.

Furthermore, his deep understanding of technology enables him to seamlessly connect diverse business areas. He has maintained his background in motion design and 3D art, which adds an important skill that becomes a fundamental part of his new stage as a co-founder of faaade®.

MAR selected to be part of The World’s Best Typography® annual book

April 2024

The project MAR: a typographic poster series—was selected in the Lettering category and will be published in the Annual of the Type Directors Club, known as The World’s Best Typography®. Additionally, it will be showcased worldwide.

The Type Directors Club (TDC) is an international organization devoted to typography and type design, founded in 1946 in New York City. The TDC is considered the most prestigious award in the field, and it believes that type drives culture, and that culture drives type. The TDC is dedicated to cataloging, showcasing, and exhibiting typography worldwide.

MAR received the "Certificate of Typographic Excellence" from the jury, and the TDC70 Exhibition will tour dozens of cities in the United States, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Poland, South Korea, Spain, and Taiwan.

TYPOGRAPHY WORKSHOP: from classical to contemporary art

In partnership with CRIAS INSTITUTE, an NGO that empowers individuals and communities towards a fairer and more inclusive society, we invite you to our first TYPOGRAPHY WORKSHOP — from classical to contemporary art: A journey of forms, styles, and rhythm. There will be 5 online meetings, including content sessions and exercises, providing an immersive experience for participants.

The Typography Workshop is completely free, but spots are limited, and it will take place remotely. So, don't waste any time!

When graffiti reinvents itself as typography

Faaade has drawn inspiration from Brazil and 'pixo' for its new project. In Brazil, 'pixo' is a practice characterized by the use of public and private spaces for unauthorized graffiti. It is a form of graffiti that transcends traditional boundaries, as many consider its essence to be distinct. Some of its artists are even recognized by specialized critics for challenging the status quo through disruptive and conceptually contemporary art.

Bruno Costa is a designer with dual nationality (Brazilian-Spanish) and a multidisciplinary background that spans brand strategy and identity, graphic design, typography, and digital products. He is a founding partner of faaade® studio, based in Madrid. Bruno holds a Master's Degree in User Experience Design from Elisava Facultat de Disseny i Enginyeria in Barcelona and is a member of ADG-FAD Spain.
Recently, he emerged as one of the most prominent artists in Europe during the 102nd edition of The Art Directors Club, receiving recognition at prestigious festivals for excellence in design and craftsmanship.
MIR: What does creativity mean to you? How would you define it?
BC: I see creativity as a tool for facing life; it's a perennial skill. This attitude leads you to have a critical spirit, questioning the established norms. Ultimately, it's not an exclusive ability of a company's department.
